Dulce Sandía

Dulce Sandía is a bright, summery cocktail that blends juicy, fresh-pressed watermelon with the rich, earthy notes of Mezcal Viviente Cupreata. It shakes up 50 ml of the artisanal mezcal alongside freshly blended and strained watermelon juice, 30 ml of sweet agave honey, and 15 ml of tart lime juice. The mixture is shaken with ice, strained into a glass beautifully rimmed with chili-lime seasoning (like Tajín), and topped with 30 ml of fizzy grapefruit soda for a bright, bubbly lift. This vibrant pink drink is finished with a fresh slice of watermelon perched right on the rim.

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml of Mezcal Viviente Cupreata

  • Watermelon small cubes

  • 30 ml grapefruit soda

  • 30 ml agave honey

  • 15 ml lime juice

  • Watermelon triangle for decoration

Instructions:

  • Rim the glass with salt or tajín.

  • Cut the watermelon into small cubes.

  • Blend the watermelon without water and strain with a sieve.

  • Add ingredients to a shaker, shake with ice, and pour using a fine strainer.

  • Decorate with a watermelon triangle.
