Dorado Old Fashioned

Dorado Old Fashioned is a bold, beautifully spirit-forward nightcap that masterfully elevates a rich reposado tequila and sweet agave base with a delicately smoky split-pour of artisanal mezcal. Stirred with a touch of anise-accented Galliano and vibrant Peychaud's bitters, this complex, highly aromatic sipper is strained over a large ice cube into an Old-Fashioned glass and finished with an expressed lemon twist.

Ingredients:

• 45 ml Patrón Reposado tequila

• 15 ml Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal

• 15 ml Galliano L'Autentico liqueur

• 2 dashes of Peychaud's or other Creole-style bitters

Instructions:

• Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into an ice-filled glass (preferably over a chunk of block ice.

• Garnish with a lemon zest twist.
