Cuffing Season

Cuffing Season is a cozy, warming riff on the classic Hot Toddy that perfectly pairs the earthy smoke of Mezcal Rosaluna with soothing winter staples. It simply builds its comforting base directly in a 6 oz tempered mug, combining 1.5 oz of the mezcal, 0.75 oz of rich local honey, and 0.5 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The mixture is then topped off with 4 to 5 oz of hot water and gently stirred until the honey is completely dissolved. This steaming, cold-weather sipper is beautifully finished with a fresh lemon wheel and an aromatic cinnamon stick for the ultimate fireside companion.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Mezcal Rosaluna

  • 0.75 oz Local honey

  • 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice

  • 4-5 oz Hot water

  • Garnish: Lemon wheel & cinnamon stick

Instructions:

  • It’s cuffing season again, but this year we’re looking for a new kind of one and only—a good drink to cuddle up with. Let warm honey, fresh lemons and Magical Mezcal keep you warm when your new crush can’t.

  • Pour Rosaluna, drizzle honey, and squeeze lemon juice into a 6 oz tempered mug. Top it off with hot water and stir until the honey is dissolved. Grab a blanket, cozy up by the fire, and forget all about the snow outside.
