Cuffing Season
Cuffing Season is a cozy, warming riff on the classic Hot Toddy that perfectly pairs the earthy smoke of Mezcal Rosaluna with soothing winter staples. It simply builds its comforting base directly in a 6 oz tempered mug, combining 1.5 oz of the mezcal, 0.75 oz of rich local honey, and 0.5 oz of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The mixture is then topped off with 4 to 5 oz of hot water and gently stirred until the honey is completely dissolved. This steaming, cold-weather sipper is beautifully finished with a fresh lemon wheel and an aromatic cinnamon stick for the ultimate fireside companion.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Mezcal Rosaluna
0.75 oz Local honey
0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
4-5 oz Hot water
Garnish: Lemon wheel & cinnamon stick
Instructions:
It’s cuffing season again, but this year we’re looking for a new kind of one and only—a good drink to cuddle up with. Let warm honey, fresh lemons and Magical Mezcal keep you warm when your new crush can’t.
Pour Rosaluna, drizzle honey, and squeeze lemon juice into a 6 oz tempered mug. Top it off with hot water and stir until the honey is dissolved. Grab a blanket, cozy up by the fire, and forget all about the snow outside.
