Capulina

An intensely flavored, aromatic cocktail that pairs the smokiness of mezcal with the bittersweet, coffee-like notes of Cynar. A touch of sweet vermouth and orange bitters rounds it out into a beautiful after-dinner sipper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ oz. mezcal espadín

  • 1 ½ oz. cold-brew coffee

  • 1 oz. evaporated milk

  • ¾ oz. Henri-Vallet Amargo (or amaro of your choice)

  • ½ oz. agave nectar

  • 5 drops Bittermens Xocolatl Mole bitters

Instructions:

  • Shake all the ingredients together with ice in a shaker. Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish.
