Café Mágico

Café Mágico is a rich, beautifully textured digestif that breathes smoky new life into the classic espresso martini. It shakes up 2 oz of Agua Mágica Mezcal with 1 oz of fresh, hot espresso, 0.5 oz of premium coffee liqueur, and 0.25 oz of sweet agave nectar. Vigorously shaken with ice to thoroughly chill the spirit and build a thick, velvety head of crema, it is cleanly double-strained into a neat, chilled coupe glass. This dark, seductive cocktail is served with a classic garnish of three coffee beans floating elegantly on the foam.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Agua Mágica Mezcal

  • 1 oz Fresh espresso

  • 0.5 oz Coffee liqueur

  • 0.25 oz Agave nectar

  • 3 Coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Combine: Add the Agua Mágica Mezcal, fresh espresso, coffee liqueur, and agave nectar into a cocktail shaker.

  • Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously to chill the drink and properly aerate the espresso into a rich foam.

  • Strain: Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.

  • Garnish: Gently place three coffee beans on top of the foam before serving.
