Beelzebub
Beelzebub is a devilishly complex, bittersweet riff on the classic whiskey sour that masterfully marries a rich bourbon foundation with a delicate, smoky whisper of mezcal. Shaken to a frosty chill with herbal Amaro Lucano, fresh lemon juice, and sweet, velvety almond orgeat syrup, this deeply layered drink is fine-strained into a Nick & Nora glass and elegantly finished with a dusting of freshly grated nutmeg.
Ingredients:
45 ml Bourbon whiskey
15 ml Lucano amaro
22.5 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
Prepare a garnish of grated nutmeg.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled glass.
Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.
