Ache Ranch Water
Acre Ranch Water is a highly refreshing, Durango-inspired twist on the unofficial drink of West Texas that beautifully highlights the earthy notes of La Tierra de Acre Cenizo Mezcal. It builds a brilliantly simple, thirst-quenching base directly in a Tajín-rimmed glass filled with fresh ice by combining 1.5 to 2 oz of the Cenizo mezcal with the freshly squeezed juice of one lime. The vibrant mixture is then topped off generously with a cold bottle of Topo Chico to provide crisp, revitalizing effervescence. This ultimate summer cooler is simply finished with a fresh lime wedge, delivering a perfectly crisp sip to beat the sweltering heat.
Ingredients:
1.5-2oz Cenizo
Juice of 1 Lime
1 Bottle of Topo Chico or other mineral water
Tajin (optional)
Instructions:
Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass; dip in Tajin. Fill glass with ice. Pour in 1.5 to 2 ounces Cenizo (depending on how strong you like it), squeeze in lime, top with Topo Chico, and serve with a lime wedge garnish. Salud!
