Please join us to taste a wildly interesting line-up of four NETA private batches produced in the 100-person community of Logoche, in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca.
For this tasting, we’ll have the opportunity to try two batches hand-picked by Other Half — a 13 year-old batch of wild Bicuixe from the late maestro Cándido García Cruz and an experimental batch of homegrown Espadin aged in American Oak from Cándido’s older brother Don Tomás García Cruz.
We will also taste the maestra Paula Aquino Sánchez’s tiny (only 20 lt!) 2024 seasonal production of Espadín co-fermented with criollo mangoes collected from her family tree and end with a pour of a rare, non-agave spirit distilled from 50 year-old Cucharillo plants by Simitrio Aquino García in 2023.
