Join Mezcalistas at The Midway SF for Mexico in a Bottle, North America's pre-eminent mezcal and Mexican spirits tasting event.

What began as an event to tell and celebrate the story of mezcal, Mexico in a Bottle has evolved to showcase the growing craft beverage scene in Mexico. San Francisco is the original home of Mexico in a Bottle and remains its largest edition. Enjoy sipping agave spirits and learning producer stories, processes and more.

The format brings together mezcal, tequila, raicilla, sotol, and bacanora producers with Mexican food vendors, music, and a program of talks and panels on production, sustainability, and the economics of agave. The emphasis throughout is on traditional producers and the people who distil, many of whom attend in person. There are also selections of Mexican whiskey, rum, gin, liqueurs, and more!

Restaurants will be serving up delicious bites paired with cocktail sips as art and music surround you. Spirits from Mexico aren't just about what's in the bottle. Each bottle contains a piece and flavor of Mexican culture and is a living link to history, tradition, food, art, and music. We are here to honor and celebrate the spirits of Mexico.
