The Narrows is hosting an evening with Mike Nardelli — an award-winning mixologist who now leads agave education for Código 1530 within Pernod Ricard's House of Tequila. Mike is flying up to Juneau to lead a six-pour guided tasting through one of the most respected agave portfolios in the world: Código's Jalisco tequila lineup and Del Maguey's single-village mezcals from Oaxaca.
This is an education night first. Mike will walk us through how agave is grown, harvested, roasted, and distilled — what makes a single-village mezcal different from a commodity bottle, why Código rests its tequila in French oak Cabernet barrels, and what to actually look for in the glass. Bring questions.
Every guest takes home a Código-branded Glencairn glass.
