Chef Sahira Malherbe, Guest Chef
Originally from the vibrant border town of Brownsville, Texas, Chef Sahira Malherbe brings a unique cultural perspective to her culinary craft. She is a classically trained chef in French cuisine and pastry, having honed her skills at Le Cordon Bleu in Mexico City. In addition to her French training, she studied traditional Mexican gastronomy at the renowned Escuela de Gastronomía Mexicana, deepening her expertise in the rich culinary heritage of her roots.
Since 2015, Chef Sahira has worked in a variety of kitchens, combining classical technique with bold, soulful flavors. Her approach bridges the refinement of European cuisine with the heart and history of regional Mexican cooking, creating dishes that are both elegant and deeply personal.
Nathaniel Loggins, Agave Spirits Expert
With over 30 years of experience in the hospitality and beverage industry, Nathaniel Loggins’ journey began in the kitchen of the legendary Commander’s Palace in New Orleans, where he cooked under acclaimed chefs Jamie Shannon and Tory McPhail. There, he not only refined his culinary skills but also gained hands-on experience in mixology and cellar management.
In 2003, Nathaniel transitioned from the back of the house to the world of wine, earning his Court of Master Sommeliers Certificate. After Hurricane Katrina, he returned to Shreveport, where he spent nearly a decade managing fine dining establishments with a focus on curating exceptional wine lists and bar programs.
For the past nine years, he has proudly served North Louisiana with Wines Unlimited, sharing his passion and expertise with clients throughout the region.
