Short Shake Redemption
Short Shake Redemption is a stunning, photoshoot-ready POG margarita crafted by Lane McCormick of PCH in San Francisco that perfectly highlights the artisanal notes of Mestiza Negra Mezcal. It builds a deliciously cloudy, fruit-forward base by combining 1.75 oz of the mezcal, 0.25 oz of Cointreau, 0.75 oz of tropical POG (passionfruit, orange, guava) syrup, 0.75 oz of fresh lime juice, 2 barspoons of tart calamansi cordial, and a delicate dash of lemongrass bitters in a shaker. Shaken vigorously and double-strained into an elegant, stemmed coupe glass over five or six ice cubes, this sweet and dangerously accessible cocktail is beautifully finished with half a fresh passionfruit and a fragrant galangal leaf.
