Playa San Cosme

Playa San Cosme is a clarified tropical milk punch that beautifully pairs the smooth, artisanal profile of Mezcal San Cosme with lush, sun-drenched island flavors. It builds a vibrant base by vigorously shaking 2 oz of the espadín mezcal, 2 oz of pineapple juice, 1 oz of coconut water, 0.75 oz of natural syrup, and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice with ice. The chilled mixture is then transferred to a mixing glass where 3 oz of milk is introduced to the citrus, intentionally curdling the liquid to soften the acidity and meld the flavors. Carefully strained through coffee filters to achieve a silky, crystal-clear texture, this complex, paradise-ready libation is elegantly served over large ice cubes for a remarkably smooth sip.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Mezcal San Cosme

  • 2 oz pineapple juice

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • 1 oz coconut water

  • ¾ oz natural syrup

  • 3 oz milk

  • 2 coffee filters

Instructions:

  • Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously

  • Pour the mixture into a mixing glass and add the milk

  • Filter the mixture using the coffee filter and pour into a glass

  • This drink uses big ice cubes.
