Chupacabra

Chupacabra is an intensely refreshing, highly complex Margarita variation that blends crisp, green garden notes with a haunting whisper of anise. Shaken to a frosty chill with silver mezcal, fresh cucumber juice, lime, and sweet pineapple syrup, it is accented by a splash of premium absinthe and served over ice in a glass rimmed with traditional Oaxacan chapulín (grasshopper) salt.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz Xicaru Silver

  • ¾ oz cucumber juice

  • ½ oz lime juice

  • ½ oz pineapple syrup

  • ¼ oz La Clandestine Absinthe

Instructions:

  • Shake and double strain into a rocks glass rimmed with chapulín salt and garnish with a cucumber ribbon.
